Frequently Asked Questions

It takes approximately 60 to 90 minutes.
I perform this procedure with general anesthesia in most of my patients. The most obvious reason for this is that it takes longer than upper eyelid aesthetics and we intervene in some deep structures. However, there are also patients I perform with local anesthesia. The most important point here is the patient's pain threshold level and the eyelid structures to be intervened.
Edema and some bruising are expected in lower eyelid plastic surgery. We take precautions against this. However, it is still reasonable to wait at least one week to return to work.
